Welcome to Irish Guided Tours

An Irish Heritage Tours Company.

The history of Ireland began about 7000 years ago and a lot has happened since. The culture of Ireland has had all this time to develop fully into the mix of old and new, from traditional music and dance, to stories, poetry and chat with a reputation for enjoying a dark sense of humour, which has made visitors welcome, into a continuous voyage of discovery. We are a family owned Irish Group Tour company, based in the beautiful Cooley Peninsula, Co. Louth, the land of Myths and Legends, halfway between Dublin and Belfast. Our tours, are storytelling on the move, the places we know best, are filled with our history, culture, myths and legends with backdrops of regularly breathtaking scenery.

We believe there is no better way to see this island, than on one of our tours, where time is allowed for to enjoy the landscapes and scenery as well as strolling through the streets of the towns or a larger city and getting to meet some of the warm-hearted people who live there. Join us, as we bring you on a journey through time, from the mystical, megalithic stone structures of the landscapes of our earliest settlers, through the periods of the Bronze and Iron ages, on through early Irish Christian sites, the Viking influences, then into the medieval period of the Anglo-Norman’s and see the waves of conflict which followed until we reach the present day, to glimpse what is now being created to form the future of our country, as the wheel continues to revolve.

A regular question we are asked is ‘what should I not miss?’ when planning a trip and everyone has their favourites. Many of the best places to visit, are not always on the main tourist trails and everything cannot be seen or enjoyed in just one day. So relax, settle down and take in some of the quirky spirit, which makes a day out in Ireland an experience to remember. From our own experiences and by listening to our clients, we have found, that by relying on what we know best, our knowledge of Ireland, alongside our dedication to giving you the best value for money and great customer satisfaction, you can be assured touring with us will meet all your expectations.

We can confidently say, that whether you have seen Ireland before or haven’t been yet, we will show you the best way to do it.

The way we know how.
